Getting to the Conference

Airport

<By Public Transport>

From the Domestic Airport (or International Airport), follow the sign to the train station to get to Airtrain. Get off at the South Brisbane Station, and walk 7 minutes.

Book your ticket prior from the Airtrain website to get a 15% discount.

<By Taxi / Rideshares>

Taxi and rideshare pick-ups are located in front of the terminal. 

Domestic Terminal: In the front of the Terminal building

International Terminal: In front of the Terminal on the Level 2 Arrivals Road, through the doors and out to the left

It is about 20 minutes drive to the venue by car. Find more here.

At the State Library, drop-off points are located on Stanley Place outside the State Library.

Public Transport

Brisbane's public transport system comprises trains, ferries, and buses, providing extensive coverage throughout the city and its surrounding areas, offering convenient and accessible transportation options for residents and visitors alike.

Please note you are required to buy a Go Card or a Single paper ticket if you would like to take a bus.

Contactless payment using a Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit or debit card or smart device for adult fares is currently available on trains, trams and Brisbane River ferries as part of Smart Ticketing customer trials.

Parking

Parking is available under the State Library and the Queensland Art Gallery. 

  • Flat fee of $17.60 per entry, per day. Payment to be made on entry by credit card only (Visa or MasterCard).

  • Overnight vehicles will incur an additional $17.60 fee per day or part thereof. Vehicles exiting after hours will incur a fee of $40. 

  • Enter via Stanley Place (access via the Grey Street and Peel Street intersection or Montague Road).  

  • Open Monday – Sunday and Public Holidays: 7:00am - MIDNIGHT.

Alternative car parks are available at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Bank Parklands, and Brisbane Converntion and Exhibition Centre

Bike

State Library of Queensland has bicycle racks which are located near reception on level 1. 
Please ensure you bring your bike lock to safely secure your bicycle.
